CAN YOU HOLD PRODUCT FOR ME?
We cannot hold any pre-owned items or order any new product without a 50% deposit. Even with a quote, someone can come in and if they pay for that piece, it will no longer be available. Pre-owned is always priced to move, so if you find a deal you might want to jump on it before someone else does!
DO YOU DELIVER?
We do! We deliver anywhere you want, but it is per piece per mile. So, the further away you are, or the bigger your purchase the more it may be. You may also get additional charges if you need before or after hour deliveries, if we need to take anything upstairs, or if there is a residential delivery.
WILL YOU BUY MY DESK?
Unfortunately, we do not purchase small quantities. We liquidate and purchase in bulk.
WHAT IS YOU WARRANTY POLICY?
This depends on what you are purchasing. If you purchase new order, all warranties are taken up with the vendor. We can get you in contact for you and even be your middleman, but we cannot speak for that company. If you are purchasing pre-owned, again, we did not make or design the product. We allow seven days for you to change your mind or find out something wrong with the product – there may be a 25% restocking fee though. After seven days though, we can’t give any monetary value back but could exchange products for something more sufficient for your space.
I BOUGHT NEW PRODUCTS, WHERE ARE THEY?
Your sales rep will give you a rough lead time. This can range based on vendor but could be as quick as one week and as long eight. We really don’t get accurate ETA’s from the companies. We get notified if there are back orders and when they ship. Other than that, we are going off previous orders for you ETA.
Storage Fees
May apply on any order held over 30 days. Any product left at Office First Solutions over 180 days will be considered abandoned. All monies on such will be forfeited.

Cubicles
Do pre-owned cubicles and desks come with instructions?
Cubicles and desks do not come with instructions and are met to be installed by professionally trained installers; we can arrange to have them assembled and installed for you. Talk to your salesperson during purchase to set up the best scheduling for you.
Can a pod of 6 cubicles be reconfigured into a row of 3 cubicles using the same parts?
On a pod, the 6 cubicles share a spine with 3 stations on each side. When a row is required, additional parts must be added including all the center shared items such as the spine and panels. Depending on the cubicle, a pod of 6 may only make a row of 3.
Can I install cubicles myself?
Yes, you can install your own cubicles. However, we recommend only attempting this with certain brands or makes. Brands that are easy to install include: Herman Miller AO2, Friant, Open Plan, Haworth Premise, Knoll Morrison, Steelcase 9000, and Haworth UniGroup. Difficult brands include: Herman Miller Ethospace, Herman Miller Canvas, Knoll Reff, Knoll Autostrada etc. Essentially most systems that are tiled or segmented are more difficult to install. Granted, you can install any of these yourself, you just need to be prepared and patient. Herman Miller AO2 is by far the easiest, one person with a drill can typically install one cubicle in about an hour. The larger the cubicle, the longer it takes to install.
How do I hook up the electrical on my cubicle?
Virtually all cubicles come with powered and non powered panels. Powered panels are usually found on the spine of a cubicle pod. Powered panels contain the "raceway" harness that includes the power for that particular panel. There are "jumpers" or power festoons that connect one powered panel to the next like a daisy chain. At the end of each cubicle pod or run you will need either a base feed or a power pole. Basefeeds run power to a wall or to the ground, power poles run power to the ceiling. The guts of a base feed and a power pole are the same and they typically hook into the cubicles the same. Most basefeeds hook into a receptacle port inside the cubicle or on the end of the raceway inside a powered panel. To wire the base feeds or power pole you will need an electrician. Almost all cubicle power is a variation of 8 wire / 4 circuit - 20 amps - 220v.
How much does it cost to install cubicles?
Cubicle installation costs vary based on the size, make or model and the components inside each cubicle (files, overhead storage etc). Base model cubicles such as Herman Miller AO2 can be installed between $100- $200 each. More complex cubicles such as Herman Miller Ethospace or Knoll Reff will cost between $250 - $350 each depending on where you're located. You also have to consider things that would add time to the installation such as not having a dock, no elevator, after hours delivery, stair carries and union labor
